The Composites Engineering Show 2011

The Bespoke Composite Panels team will be exhibiting at The Composites Engineering Show 2011 at the NEC, Birmingham, from 9-10 November.

The show, which this year is incorporating Aero Engineering, Energy Engineering and the UK Plastics Engineering Show, provides the UK's only annual exhibition showcase of suppliers & partners to the rapidly growing composite design & manufacturing industries.

Aero Engineering Show 2010

Over 3,000 professionals attended the Aero Engineering, and co-locating Composites Engineering shows at the NEC last week - reflecting the strong & growing UK market across these two high value sectors, and setting the foundation for an expanded event in 2011.

Both BCP and Corex-Honeycomb shared a stand at the event and it was a great success with new leads and contacts made. It was also a chance to catch up with some of our partners and business associates in the sector.

In fact it was such a big success that we have already booked our stand for next year.

Celebrating 20 Years in the Rail Industry

BCP Rail (a division of Bespoke Composite Panels) are celebrating their 20th anniversary of supplying the Rail Industry with manufactured light-weight structural panels and energy absorbers. BCP Rail are experienced in working in partnership with prime Contractors and have been involved in a number of prestige rail contracts which has contributed towards our success for twenty years.

Our success has been achieved by giving our customers the best possible service and our employment of a policy of continuous improvement and high standards of quality. This has enabled BCP Rail to be highly competitive in terms of price, quality and innovation across a broad spectrum of engineering requirements. Our expertise ranges from producing the smallest injection moulding component to the largest structural composite panel, and one off precision tool making to complex modular structures for rail catering requirements.

Our extensive portfolio has allowed us to build on our knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing to meet group railway standards. Our multi-disciplined team of qualified engineers are experienced in design and manufacture for many markets, offering expertise in: Consultancy, Design, Simulation, Prototyping and Full scale production. Our customer is of paramount importance and we aim to assist our customers in whatever stage of the project process they require.

BCP Rails area of specialisim includes: Galley and Servery Modules, such as modular systems for carriage interiors where we provide cost effective manufacturing techniques. Housing atlas style aisle carts and meal containers, with laminate panels providing light weight and high strength solutions and with the addition of the high strength laminate this ultimately provides our customers with a more durable product.

BCP Rail manufacture solely at its UK site producing a variety of structural panels from a range of core materials including: Aluminium Honeycomb, PP Honeycomb and Pressloadâ„¢ The panels are used in a variety of applications in the Rail Industry such as: Flooring, Doors, table tops and Cabin dividers etc.
